How the Draw Works
Every draw is conducted live, independently verified, and permanently recorded on a public proof page. There is no mechanism by which the result can be influenced. Here is exactly what happens.
Entries close
When the final ticket is sold or the closing date is reached, no further entries are accepted. The draw takes place on the date stated on the competition page - announced in advance, no extensions, no delays. All ticket holders are notified by email.
Blockchain-locked entries via Verified Draws
The draw is conducted using Verified Draws - an independent verification platform that cryptographically locks every entry on-chain before the draw runs. Verified Draws generates a permanent, tamper-proof record of every draw parameter: the total entries, the winning number, the timestamp, and the verification hash. Once recorded, this cannot be altered after the fact and is permanently accessible to any entrant.
Live draw on Facebook
The draw takes place live on our Facebook page. The winning number from the Verified Draws certificate is announced on screen. The draw is recorded and remains permanently accessible.
Winner matched and contacted
The winning ticket number is matched to the customer record in our system. Ticket numbers are assigned sequentially in the order entries are received and confirmed by payment. The winner is contacted within an hour. ID verification is required before dispatch. If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, a redraw takes place live under the same conditions.
Watch delivered, in person where possible
Most winners are handed their watch in person by the founder. Where we can't meet, watches go by fully insured tracked courier, typically arriving within 48-72 hours of verification. Full tracking is provided. The watch is identical to the item described - genuine, with box and papers where stated. The Calibre Club covers all delivery costs.
Independent Verification
Every draw certified by Verified Draws
Verified Draws provides cryptographically signed, blockchain-locked draw certificates that are publicly auditable and cannot be tampered with after creation. Unlike a screenshot of a random number generator, a Verified Draws certificate contains a unique hash, timestamp, draw parameters, and a public verification link - meaning any entrant can independently confirm the result at any time, permanently.
This is the standard of transparency we believe every prize draw should meet. We use it because you deserve to verify the result yourself - not just take our word for it.
No Purchase Necessary
Free postal entry route
Every Calibre Club competition has a free postal entry route. Paid and free entries go into the same draw with equal treatment. To enter free by post, first create a free Calibre Club account so we can match your entry and contact you if you win. Then post a postcard or unenclosed letter to:
The Calibre Club
Unit A, 82 James Carter Road
Mildenhall Industrial Estate
Suffolk, IP28 7DE
United Kingdom
Include the email address registered to your account, your full name, and the competition you wish to enter. One free entry per envelope. Entries must arrive before the closing date. Read the full free entry route for complete conditions.
Draw Certificates
Every result is permanently on record
After each draw, the Verified Draws certificate is published on our Winners page. The certificate shows the exact number generated, the timestamp, the total entries, and a public verification link. You can verify any result independently without relying on our word.
Is this gambling?
No. Our draws are structured as UK prize draws with a no-purchase-necessary free postal entry route. Paid and valid free postal entries go into the same draw with equal treatment. The Calibre Club is operated by Asct Holdings Limited, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15776783). You must be 18 or over and a UK resident to enter.
Are the watches genuine?
Every watch is genuine, sourced from reputable UK channels, and authenticated before draw close. Condition is stated openly on each competition page (e.g. pre-owned excellent, full set with box and papers). What's described is what arrives.
How are payments processed?
All payments are processed securely via Trust Payments. Card details are never stored on our systems. All transactions are encrypted via SSL.
What happens if a competition doesn't sell out?
The draw still runs at the advertised date and time, with whoever has entered. Lower sell-through means better odds for entrants. We don't cancel, extend, or roll over draws. No extensions. Ever.
Can I get a refund?
Entries are non-refundable once the competition is live, except in the case of a cancelled competition. This is stated in our Terms & Conditions. Please read them before entering.
